May 2014: A small update--an eulogy for my late father, who passed away in April is up. It is only reachable by a tab on this main index page.
May 2013: It's been a long time between updates, five years or so. It's about time I totally revamped this site, and I've decided to get rid of a lot of the pages that were essentially just taking up space and focus more on historical pages on the Anarchisma main site. The Hans Matheson fan page will remain, as will a short homage page to Adelaide's longest running punk rock band, Fear and Loathing. Other than that, there will be a few photos and links and the rest is history.
The decision to go this way with the site was made because with the rise in social media, websites such as this are really going the way of the dinosaur, I think. Informational sites will remain, as will news and media sites, and fan pages but most internet traffic seems geared towards social media. As such, I felt that as the historic clothing research part of the site got the most attention that it was the part that was worth keeping up.
I have no problems changing the focus of things here. I think it needed to be done. The site was, after all, very outdated. Now, it's more up to speed with me and what I'm doing, and as I'm extremely busy these days with my writing, I don't have the time to dedicate to Anarchisma that I would like to. Plus, once a re-enactor, always a re-enactor, and my love of history and research will no doubt provide articles and pages for this site for a long time to come.
Thank you for your support over the years and I hope you continue to enjoy Anarchisma. If you wish to contact me, and one of the social medias isn't your cup of tea, then you can email me at MemorySorrowThorn@gmail.com.
